PROJECTS AND ISSUES
UCCLF has produced and distributed educational materials about Ukrainian Canadian issues.

Ukrainian Internment in Canada
Thousands of Ukrainians and other Europeans were classified as enemy aliens during Canada's first national internment operations of 1914 to 1920.

The Holodomor
During 1932 - 1933 millions of Ukrainians perished in a famine orchestrated by the Stalinist regime. Almost 90 percent of these victims are between the winter of 1932 and spring of 1933, one of the greatest genocides in European history.

Cpl Filip Konowal
Corporal Filip Konowal was distinguished with a Victoria Cross for his valour at the Battle of Hill 70 in August 1917. He was the only Ukrainian Canadian to have received this medal.
